Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about how Therapify works, what it costs and how your data is handled.

Is Therapify a replacement for a licensed therapist?

No. Therapify is a supportive tool for talking through everyday stress, anxiety, relationships and low mood. It does not diagnose, prescribe or treat conditions, and it will encourage you to see a licensed professional when problems are persistent or severe. In an emergency contact local emergency services or a crisis line.

How does AI therapy in Therapify work?

You choose a therapist persona, pick your current mood and start writing or sending voice messages. An AI model generates the therapist's replies using your messages, your profile answers and short summaries of earlier sessions, so the conversation stays personal and continuous.

Can I send voice messages and get voice replies?

Yes. Hold the microphone button to record a voice message. It is transcribed for the therapist, and the reply can come back as a spoken message you play in the chat. You can also turn on "always reply with voice".

Does the therapist remember previous sessions?

Yes. After a few messages Therapify writes a short summary of the session. Your next session starts with that memory, so you never have to repeat yourself.

Is my data private?

Conversations are anonymous to the AI provider: no account ID, e-mail, phone number or device identifiers are shared. Data sent to OpenAI is not used to train models. You can delete your account and all conversations from Menu > Data & privacy.

How much does Therapify cost?

The first session is free. After that a subscription unlocks unlimited sessions and voice replies, billed through your Apple ID with monthly, 6-month and yearly options. You can cancel at any time.

Which languages does Therapify support?

The app is available in English, Turkish, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, and the therapist replies in the language you write in.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up form. Therapify creates an anonymous account on your device; you can optionally sign in with Apple.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. If you paid but could not use the service, write to [email protected] with your transaction details and we will help.

Is Therapify available on Android?

Therapify is currently available for iPhone on the App Store. Android is not available yet.
